EAL LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

Q: How is the EAL Level 2 Diploma assessed?

The qualification uses mixed assessment methods including on-screen exams, written assignments, and practical assessments. The diploma is graded as pass only (not graded with marks).

The Diploma offers an opportunity to practice and be assessed in a secure environment on the installation of wiring systems together with the relevant theory of electrical installation. The learner has the opportunity to utilise the IET On Site Guide with some of the units; and also acquire knowledge of electrical science and principles. When completed, this qualification also facilitates progression to an Industry recognised qualification.

Course Content

Health and safety, electrical installation theory and technology, electrical installation methods, procedures and requirements; electrical installation craft skills and electrical science and principles.
