LEVEL 3 AWARD IN THE DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS
This qualification covers the installation of dedicated electrical energy storage systems (EESS) in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems. This Course is designed to provide a level 3 qualification awarded by LCL awards upon successful completion of the course and assessment.
The course will provide detailed theory and practical knowledge enabling you to apply the relevant regulations and guidance when involved with battery storage systems.
Course Content
You will learn how to size and safely install an EESS to meet your customers’ needs and enable them to make savings on their energy bills. Research and development in recent years means that battery technology has greatly improved leading to wider use in domestic settings.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers with experience of electrical installations, and associated inspection and testing. Applicants should be working within the electrical industry and ideally hold a formal level 3 electrical qualification and must hold a current BS7671 qualification.
